Island Casino Michigan Reopening
➝Island Resort and Casino in Harris, Michigan, will reopen in phases, starting Wednesday, after it was closed on March 21 due to COVID-19. The phases are as follows: Slot floor, Bingo, and Food. Treasure Island Resort & Casino is open to the public 24 hours a day with proactive limits and restrictions in place to promote social distancing and, most importantly, protect the health and safety of our guests, team members and the Prairie Island Indian Community. It has well over a dozen casinos, and those that choose to reopen will be the first non-tribal casinos in the country to do so. Island Casino exercises tribal sovereignty, but delays reopening. The Michigan Gaming Control Board ordered all of the state’s casinos to shut down in mid-March, a decision subsequently backed up by gubernatorial.

- The casino says it will now be reopening on Saturday, May 16. No further details were released. The Island Resort and Casino will reopen its facility on Wednesday, May 6 at 8:00 a.m.
