Fireworks at Fairgrounds Park – July 4, 2021 Free to the public! 30 minutes of spectacular fireworks begin at 9:30 pm. Check with Hagerstown Parks Department in 2020 to see if this event is happening as scheduled. No alcoholic beverages. No personal fireworks. No pets (only service animals permitted). Hagerstown Hopes Pride Festival - July 17. Its quintet performs at Lutes Casino, 7 to 9 p.m. June 29 and July 27, and its trio will be at the The Sunset Lounge in Cocopah Casino on Tuesdays from 6 to 9 p.m. Through the summer. #49 of 110 On Aug. 4, attend Splash Out Crime Night, which brings together families for a night of swimming, DJ music, dunk tank, games, prizes and other.

Fourth of July is Almost Here - Make Sure You're Safe

Fourth of July is a great celebration of the birth of our nation. Nothing says Independence Day like family and friends, BBQing and fireworks.

The safest way to enjoy fireworks is to go to a sponsored fireworks show, but if you are going to use your own fireworks, first make sure they are legal in your neck of the woods, and second be as safe as you possibly can.

Update:

My family and I had a great time on the Fourth of July. We went to the Cocopah Indian Casino, in Arizona, near Yuma. The casino displayed a free fireworks show that was amazing, and probably 3 times longer than any other fireworks show I've seen. I guess if anyone has the money to produce an awesome fireworks show it would be them.

Cocopah also had a nice area sectioned off for alcohol consumption, a place for the kids to play on multiple bouncy houses and lots of eats!! We're are going back to Cocopah again next year for the Fourth of July!

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — Independence Day celebrations will look decidedly different this year, as COVID-19 concerns have spurred cancellations of most July 4th parades, carnivals and fireworks extravaganzas throughout the Inland Empire.

More events are canceled then proceeding, to be sure. But there still are a smattering of live fireworks shows throughout Riverside County. And some communities are getting creative with home-decorating contests, patriotic, online activities or virtual fireworks.
